  Internet Activities for Farm  
A Child's Place: Farm Activity (Pre-K-K)
After teaching the children, "Old McDonald Had a Farm," print out this worksheet. Have the children draw a line from the farm animals to the barn. The children can then take home the page and point to the farm animals while singing "Old McDonald Had a Farm."

Universal Studios: Babe's Farm (Pre-K-K)
After finishing your farm unit, have your class watch "Babe." When the movie is over, print out the two pages above and have the children create their own "Babe Farm."

Owl and Mouse Software: Make a Farm (1-2)
After learning about the farm, spend a week designing a farm. Print out all the props for a farm from this site. Allow the class to color, cut out, and position the farm pieces on a bare wall in your classroom or hall to show everyone the things they have learned about the farm.

Ben and Jerry's: Action Cow (1-2)
After studying about cows, have your class make an action figure cow. Print out the action cow picture and directions and spend some time making cows with your kids.

NASS: The Case of the Missing Sums (3-4)
After a grammar lesson on parts of speech, end the day with a cooperative Mad Lib. Have your class help fill out the page with the correct parts of speech. When finished, click on "Check it out." Read the story your class helped create. If they enjoy this activity, allow them to do it independently the next day.
