Natalie shaved off her hair to play Evie in “V for Vendetta.” Upon her return to New York, her unusual haircut caught the attention of a traffic policeman, who thought she looked like a terrorist. He stopped her from entering New York’s Midtown Tunnel, and told her to take the bridge!

Natalie is a committed vegetari |  | | Quick Bio: | Natalie is the only child of Dr. Avner Herschlag, an Israeli fertility specialist, and Shelley Hershlag, a Jewish-American artist. She started dancing at the age of four. At age 11, a model scout approached her while she was eating pizza. She told him that she would prefer acting to modeling. Natalie spent her summer vacations at theater camps, and was quickly cast in important parts on Broadway and in movies. Her feature film debut was in Luc Bresson’s “The Professional” (1994), where she plays a young girl on the run from a hit man after her parents are killed. Her performance in that film won her an acting award for “Best Actress in a Drama.” She made her Broadway debut in “The Diary of Anne Frank,” a play based on the diary of a young girl who died at the hands of the Nazis. Natalie did eight performances a week, while maintaining a full schedule in high school. Her role in the Star Wars films made her famous all over the world. In 2001, Natalie performed in Chekhov’s play “The Seagull” in Central Park, with co-stars Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline and Christopher Walken. Not willing to sacrifice her education to her career, Natalie found time to finish high school with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, and managed to complete a psychology degree at Harvard University (Class of 2003). Since graduating from Harvard, Natalie has enrolled in a graduate program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and has worked as a research assistant to superstar criminal defense attorney Alan Dershowitz.
