To enter the sweepstakes participants 13 years of age or older must click on the ‘ENTER NOW” button on the sweepstakes entry page of the Site. Entrants younger than 13 years of age will be required to provide an email address for a parent or legal guardian on the entry page of the Site and all entry information for participants under 13 years of age will be used solely for participation in the sweepstakes and will be destroyed immediately upon the conclusion of the sweepstakes in accordance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Sweepstakes Dates: Entries received between February 16, 2007 12:01 AM EST and March 31, 2007 11:59 PM EST will be eligible to participate in the iPod Shuffle Alfy Sweepstakes. The prize drawing will be held based on all entries received during the time period indicated above. Subsequent Alfy sweepstakes may be offered during subsequent periods, however there is no carry-over of sweepstakes entries from one sweepstakes period to the next. Prize Drawings: Winners will be selected at random by Alfy. The prize drawing for the sweepstakes will be held on or around April 10, 2007. 5. Prizes and Odds of Winning: One (1) iPod Shuffle digital music player will be awarded to one winner. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The total retail value of the iPod Shuffle digital music player sweepstakes prize is $79.00. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize by winners permitted. Alfy reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, surcharges and shipping on any prize. The manufacturer/retailer of the sweepstakes prize is not a participant or sponsor of or affiliated with this sweepstakes and all trademarks relating to the prizes are the property of such manufacturer/retailer. 6. Winner Notification: The winner(s) will be notified by e-mail to the email address provided at registration or on the entry page of the Site. If a winner is younger than 13 years of age the winner email notification will provide the parent or guardian the ability to opt out of participation in the sweepstakes. If such option is selected, the selected winner will no longer be eligible to win the sweepstakes or to participate in future Alfy sweepstakes. Winners (or a parent or legal guardian if a winner is a minor) will be required to respond to the notification to acknowledge receipt of the prize and to submit an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release in order to receive the prize (except where prohibited by law). If Alfy does not receive a signed and completed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 7 calendar days of notification, the prize will be awarded to a replacement winner drawn at random. Failure of Operation: If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Alfy which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Alfy reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
